Roma Cares, a new initiative to help patients connect with their families

The public charity connected to AS Roma is helping patients infected by the COVID-19 virus. Roma Cares, an inexhaustible source of hope and help for all.

It was founded in 2014 and it’s tied to AS Roma, the Italian football powerhouse that recently delivered food and medical supplies to the homes of Roma’s oldest and most vulnerable season ticket holders.

Roma Cares is a very active public charity with the goal of fostering social solidarity through action.

In unprecedented times, while the world is fighting against a powerful enemy and the world’s health systems are overloaded with the uninterrupted flows of patients infected by the COVID-19 virus, as reported on the official AS Roma website: “Roma Cares collaborated with WINDTRE who donated 50 smartphones and tablets to three hospitals in the Lazio region.”

The primary objective of this initiative is to keep patients infected by the COVID-19 virus in contact with their family members.
