Fonseca: We must be ready to help in this difficult moment

Marco Canoniero /

Fonseca spoke about the countless beneficial actions done by the club and his approach to football and life right now. He wants to help Roma.

Football can wait, health is a primary factor and the league can restart but only when safety can be guaranteed for everyone. When asked if the current season will resume, Paulo Fonseca stated: “It is difficult to say, everyone’s health is the most important thing. If possible, it would be important to end the championship.”

A few football powerhouses have already planned a salary cut to deal with the possible economic losses caused by the COVID-19 global crisis. The coach of the Giallorossi is ready to do whatever it takes to help the club.

“We must be ready to help in this difficult moment. We are ready. We must be sensitive. It’s a very difficult moment for everyone and we are ready to help,” Paulo Fonseca said to Sky Sport.

The Portuguese coach is very proud of Roma, a club with great dignity and ethics that has activated remarkable beneficial and social actions. Yesterday, he posted a nice message on his Instagram profile and expressed his happiness in being part of such a prestigious club.
