The Argentine player has been injured for a long time but reportedly many teams are interested in Pastore. Will he stay at Roma?
Will Javier Pastore return available for Roma or will he decide to change path? These may be two tough questions to answer at this time. Anything can happen in the January transfer window.
The Argentine player picked up an injury on November 24, 2019, at the Stadio Tardini in Parma. Since then, Paulo Fonseca no longer had a chance to play him (8 consecutive matches unavailable).
Reportedly, a few clubs are interested in Pastore with the latest being River Plate. According to Fox Sports Radio Argentina, Roma’s midfielder may have a chance to return to Argentina.
The 30-year-old player seems to be almost ready to train with his teammates in Trigoria, though. “No much longer before my return but the desire to reach my teammates is stronger than ever,” Javier Pastore said through his official Twitter profile today.
Manca sempre meno per tornare in campo , ma la voglia di raggiungere miei compagni è sempre più forte 🐺💛forza Roma ❤️ https://t.co/Lofhdf92Jh
