Roma signed Villar to strengthen their midfield and the promising player is ready for this new exciting adventure. The midfielder knows his quality.

Roma’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi signed another young and talented player. The Giallorossi have always been purchasing youngsters ready to blossom and most of them delighted the crowd of the Stadio Olimpico.

Gonzalo Villar is a 21-year-old who loves the eternal city and seems to be ready for this new challenge. A new league with a glorious side that is working hard to reach their seasonal goals.

“I have known Rome since I was a child and I followed their progress in the league and in the Champions League,” Villar said to the official channel of the club today. He had a great first impression of both the city and the club. “The training center is spectacular and this is an incredible and historic city.”

But Gonzalo Villar already knows what he wants. Roma selected him for his potential. The Lupi need talented players capable of working under the enormous pressure of the Roman environment.

Paulo Fonseca gave a green light to his purchase and the player wants to impress him as soon as possible. “I spoke to the coach…He told me that he likes the way I play and that I have to work hard to adapt to this new challenge,” Villar said to Roma TV.
