The Giallorossi need a right-winger and Politano would be happy to join the Lupi. Inter and Roma may find the right solution to finalize this deal soon.

Several names are on Petrachi‘s agenda. Roma desperately need a player able to replace Zaniolo and the sporting director of the Giallorossi has been working on multiple tables to purchase the best possible winger.

But Roma’s sporting director also knows that Paulo Fonseca had chosen Politano before the negotiation with Inter stopped abruptly. Reportedly, Shaqiri is not going to leave Liverpool at least until the end of the season and Suso went to Milan‘s headquarter hoping for a change in the current transfer window.

Inter’s sporting director Ausilio spoke about Matteo Politano’s future today. “Matteo is an important asset for our club. Technical assessments will be made and if there’s an opportunity we will try to satisfy him,” Ausilio said to Sky Sport.

Roma are, therefore, still in the race for Politano. The right-winger still has the possibility to crown his dream to join his beloved team. According to Nicolò Schira (La Gazzetta dello Sport), Politano’s agent Lippi is trying to bring the parties involved closer. Meanwhile, the player would have already rejected the possibility to move to Sevilla or Monaco.

According to the famous Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter may be willing to let Politano go to Roma only if the Giallorossi will finalize a total purchase of the Italian winger or on loan with an obligation to buy.
