Roma, the responsibility to make the fans happy

We are on the verge of another important moment for Roma. A likely change of ownership and Pellegrini’s desire to win many trophies.

The club of Trigoria may pass through another important phase. Reportedly, the The Friedkin Group is finalizing the acquisition of the glorious team of the eternal city but the players should only be focused on what happens on the pitch.

Their recent defeat against Torino deeply disappointed the passionate fans of the Lupi, who, instead, can hope for a bright future under different ownership. Although president Pallotta has been doing great things on the business side, the Bostonian investor and his group failed to shape a team capable of bringing trophies at Trigoria.

But there’s a son of Rome who firmly wants to change this upsetting trend. Lorenzo Pellegrini wishes to make their fans happy, no just once but many times.

When asked about what it means to be a Roman in Rome, the Italian midfielder clearly stated: “It’s an important responsibility. You feel that you have to make the fans happy.”

Wise words of a player who knows the passion Roma‘s fans have for their team. These are obscure feelings for those who do not sympathetically live the Roma world.

“Some say that winning a title in Rome is like winning 10 elsewhere. I want to win 10 titles. Ten that are worth ten,” Lorenzo Pellegrini said to Walter Veltroni for La Gazzetta dello Sport.

This is the right approach to begin 2020 on the right path.
