Pellegrini scored two goals against Parma and Roma advanced to the next round of the Coppa Italia. He dedicated his brace to his family and Zaniolo.

After two disappointing performances, Lorenzo Pellegrini played a marvelous match at the Stadio Tardini today. The Italian midfielder has remarkable quality and the ability to score important goals.

In the post-match interviews, the midfielder spoke about the match and stated: “We really wanted to do well today because the first two matches of 2020 didn’t go as planned. I’m happy for me and for my team. We go to Genoa to win,” said Lorenzo Pellegrini to RAI.

Italy international also spoke about his unlucky teammate Nicolò Zaniolo who got injured a few days ago. He also wanted to dedicate his goals to his friend: “In addition to my family that is always in my heart, I want to dedicate them [the two goals] to Nicolò [Zaniolo]. He is like a little brother to me and I’ll wait for him on the pitch soon. We need him.”
