Juventus defeated Roma and got access to the Coppa Italia semifinals. The Giallorrossi suffered the rhythm and the higher quality of Sarri’s side.

Nothing to do again! Roma got an early elimination from the Coppa Italia edition 2019-20. Juventus showed a technical difference today as well and in front of their fans, they demolished the Giallorossi.

“There was a difference in efficacy. The first time they got to the goal they scored, and so they did the second time as well. The team played well but the quality is different,” Paulo Fonseca said to RAI right after Juventus-Roma.

Nikola Kalinic didn’t perform well but even his offensive teammates underperformed in front of the champions of Italy. “We know that Dzeko is a very important player for us. But Kalinic was not the only problem…We can do better than that,” Fonseca continued. “Kluivert and Under made many mistakes in the first half. This is the difference at this moment.”

Roma’s coach is also very worried about Diawara‘s injury: “We don’t have many players at this time. Let’s hope it’s not a serious injury and he can play the next match.”
