Juventus stubbed Roma two times in the first ten minutes and collected three points at the Stadio Olimpico. The Giallorossi had a good reaction in the second half (Stats).

Second consecutive home defeat for the Lupi. Roma totally failed the approach to today’s match letting Juventus score the opener and the second goal in just ten minutes.

“It’s difficult against teams like Juventus. We conceded two easy goals,” said Paulo Fonseca to Sky right after Roma-Juventus 1-2.

In the pre-match press conference, the Portuguese coach had clearly stated: “We must score more goals…When I analyze the team, I look for whether we are creating chances.”

The giallorossi had many goal-scoring opportunities even today. But Roma scored one goal just on a penalty with Perotti. Too many wasted chances for the Lupi. With Zaniolo out for a long time, Fonseca and Petrachi may have to find a solution in the January transfer window.
