Fonseca spoke about the Coppa Italia quarterfinal that will take place tomorrow at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. He believes Roma can defeat Juventus.

Roma on the road to face the champions of Italy tomorrow. The Giallorossi have a tough obstacle to overcome but the team is confident after the recent Serie A win against Genoa.

Paulo Fonseca knows Juventus have many top players capable of putting the Lupi in danger in different areas of the pitch, but he wants to see a great dedication and desire to win tomorrow.

“We will play with ambition, desire to win, and with confidence to change this trend [Roma have always lost at the Stadium in Turin]. We know it’s going to be a tough match. Juventus are a big team and in a good moment. We can think of winning,” Fonseca said to Roma TV.

He also believes Nikola Kalinic will play a good match against the Bianconeri. Edin Dzeko will not be available for the Coppa Italia quarterfinal but the performance of the Croatian striker against Parma satisfied the coach.

“He played a very good match in Parma. I’m very confident. I’m sure he will play a good match tomorrow,” Paulo Fonseca said to the official change of the club.
