The 23rd edition of the Deloitte Football Money League highlights that Roma are in the football elite albeit they lost a position.

No one can deny that Roma have become a global and attractive brand under James Pallotta’s management. The Bostonian investor may have failed to shape a team able to bring trophies in the eternal city but he did a wonderful job on the business side.

According to the 23rd edition of the Deloitte Football Money League, Barcelona get the leading position as the club that earns the most in the world, €840.8 million. Real Madrid are right behind their domestic rivals (€757.3m) while Manchester United sit in the third step of the podium (€711.5m).

Juventus lead the group of the Italian powerhouses (10th position | €459.7m) ahead of Inter (14th | €364.6m), Roma (16th | €231m), and Napoli (20th | €207.4m).
