Carles Perez’s move to Roma seems to be on hold. Barcelona wants to have the possibility to buyback the talented winger. Are the Lupi happy with that?
Sometimes clauses on a contract can compromise a deal. According to sport.es, Barcelona want a buyback clause on Carles Perez‘s contract. The Blaugrana may be willing to let the player go during the current transfer window, but only if they will have the possibility to purchase him back in the future.
Reportedly, Barcelona have already informed Perez’s agent Arturo Canales that the deal cannot be finalized as it is.
Are the Giallorossi happy with that?
According to what Roma‘s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi had said a few days ago, the Giallorossi prefer to own their players and this kind of option may force the Lupi to move for another winger. It wouldn’t be the best thing to see a talented player blossom in the next few years and then have to let him go.
