Juventus kicked Roma out of the Coppa Italia defeating the Lupi at the Allianz stadium. The quality of Sarri’s men decided today’s match.

Everyone knew it was going to be a very difficult match for Roma and predictions have come true. Although the Giallorossi started the game on the right foot, Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal completely changed Fonseca‘s game plan.

The main problem is the substantial difference in quality between the two teams. In the post-match interviews, Paulo Fonseca clearly stated that even the efficiency of the Bianconeri made the difference today. Too many wasted opportunities for the Lupi. Roma had the chance to reopen the match in the second half but Buffon made a great save on Florenzi.

Ronaldo, Bentancour, and Bonucci, instead, took advantage of three defensive mistakes and sealed the qualification to the Coppa Italia semifinals.
