Three top wingers for different game plans: Fonseca can choose

The Portuguese coach should recover Kluivert for the match against Fiorentina. Fonseca has Mkhitaryan and Perotti on the left flank as well.

When every player is fit and ready to play, Paulo Fonseca has three top wingers to develop his offensive strategies. Perotti, Mkhitaryan, and Kluivert may help Roma’s coach in different positions as well.

With Pastore still out for an injury, Lorenzo Pellegrini may need a little rest soon. Henrikh Mkhitaryan can be the right player to make sweet assists for Dzeko. But the Armenian star is an excellent option as a left-winger as well. His ability to score even with limited playing time is an important factor for the Lupi.

Diego Perotti has been doing well this season. The Argentine is a master in taking penalty kicks and scored important goals for the Giallorossi recently. His contribution as a left-winger has been good. He played a marvelous match against Spal at the Stadio Olimpico. Fonseca can play him against very defensive sides. Perotti has the ability to dribble and find the striker with accurate balls through.

Justin Kluivert has been Fonseca’s favorite player on the left offensive flank. Thanks to his speed, the Dutchman is a key player on the counter. He has a natural ability to surprise the opponents’ backlines. He had picked up an injury against Hellas Verona on December 1st, but he should be back in the upcoming clash against Fiorentina.
