The Italian striker seems to be on Petrachi’s agenda for the next transfer window. Roma want a new offensive player to help Dzeko.
We are getting closer to the January transfer window and rumors about possible arrivals or departures are out there on a daily basis.
With Nikola Kalinic still struggling, Paulo Fonseca seems to be willing to welcome another striker. Edin Dzeko cannot play every match until the end of the season and Roma’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi is working to find a new striker who can potential replace Dzeko sometimes.
According to the famous Italian radio station Teleradiostereo, Andrea Petagna is on Roma’s radar. In the next few hours, there would be a meeting between Roma and Spal to talk about the Italian striker.
Reportedly, Roma may sign the player on loan for 18 months (paying a fee to Spal). The Giallorossi will then finalize Petagna’s acquisition in June 2021. Apparently, Inter may be interested in him as well.
