The Giallorossi will face Conte’s side on Friday. Inter’s offensive phase is remarkable but Roma have a solid defense with Smalling and Mancini.
Paulo Fonseca decided to leave his men free for a day before the Serie A clash against Inter. The Giallorossi have the possibility to do well in Milan after their convincing performances in Turkey and Verona.
Roma’s defensive line will be in danger, though. The Nerazzurri never failed to score at Stadio San Siro since the beginning of the season. Lautaro Martinez and Romero Lukaku are doing great upfront but Smalling and Mancini have the right physicality and tactical adaptability to contrast them.
Antonio Conte’s side is currently leading the league but Fonseca and his players have shown improvements lately.
In their last four Serie A away matches, Roma failed to score only twice, 0-0 against Sampdoria and 2-0 at the Stadio Tardini against Parma. The Giallorossi conceded only 0.71 goals per match away from the eternal city.
The Portuguese coach may try to push his side to attack since the start of the match. In the current Serie A season, Roma never ended the first half behind their opponents.
