The Giallorossi are battling with Lazio, Cagliari, and Atalanta for the qualification to the Champions League but Roma can even think bigger.
Roma shouldn’t set limits in the current campaign. The Giallorossi are playing attractive football and thanks to Fonseca’s directives they are also very confident on the pitch.
The roster of the Giallorossi is very talented and albeit the Lupi have lost many points since the start of the Serie A season, Paulo Fonseca can still bring his team high up in the standings. The trick is to always believe in it without ever giving up.
Nicolò Zaniolo, Lorenzo Pellegrini, and Edin Dzeko must be more proficient in front of the goal, though. Paulo Fonseca has finally fixed things in defense with the duo Smalling–Mancini. The Portuguese also put Veretout and Diawara in charge of Roma’s midfield line. But although the team has been developing good offensive plays, more goals are needed.
Roma have the potential to chase Inter. Conte‘s side is currently leading the Italian league but the last match at Stadio San Siro showed that the Giallorossi can compete for the most ambitious goals.
