The Italian striker helped Spal defeat Torino yesterday. Petagna confirmed his commitment to Semplici’s side albeit Roma and Inter are chasing him.
When football powerhouses are chasing a player, they often reach their objective. Reportedly, Roma and Inter are still thinking of Andrea Petagna albeit the striker is totally focused on doing great things with Spal this season.
The Giallorossi need an offensive player capable of replacing Dzeko sometimes and Petagna may be Roma’s best choice in the January transfer window.
When Dazn asked about his future right after Torino-Spal 1-2, Petagna stated: “I scored 25 goals in a one-and-half year here. It’s normal that we can talk about these teams, but I’m down to earth. I’m young and I have to improve a lot. I want to help the team.”
“Training with such a champion would be a dream” had said Petagna to Sky after the Serie A match Roma-Spal. “But I have to think of Spal now. The club took me in a difficult moment and I want to do well here.”
Andrea Petagna’s future is still uncertain. Reportedly, Roma would be interested in Genoa‘s Andrea Pinamonti as well.
