The Portuguese coach wants more from his men even if he welcomes an important point against the 1st-placed Inter.
There’s always the possibility of doing better but the performance of the Giallorossi against Inter was remarkable yesterday.
Roma faced the leading team of the Serie A standings in front of their supporters and they clearly played with courage and tactical wisdom.
“We played a good match defensively. Inter had a few opportunities due to our mistakes. But we were very brave,” Paulo Fonseca stated to Roma TV after Inter-Roma.
The Portuguese coach is not fully satisfied with the 0-0, though. This the approach that those who are really ambitious have. There’s always the possibility to do better especially when a team is solid and talented.
“I’m not totally satisfied. We didn’t win albeit we played a good match. Dzeko was not fit. He trained only one day and he couldn’t play for more than 15-20 minutes. But offensively we could have made the difference with crosses and balls through,” Roma’s coach Fonseca explained to the official TV channel of the club.
