Under eager to reconquer Roma: I’m ready to give my best

Cengiz Under - AS Roma

The Turk is happy for the qualification to EURO 2020. Under reached his objective with his national team and he is ready to make the difference at Roma.

Roma’s fans are waiting to see their beloved jewel on the pitch again. After recovering from a long injury, Cengiz Under made a few short appearances with the Giallorossi and he played almost a full match with his national team against Island. Now that Turkey qualified for EURO 2020, the talented winger can only focus on Roma’s goals.

The club of Trigoria is chasing the qualification for the next edition of the Champions League. It’s going to be a tough challenge against many other Italian sides. But Roma have a great group of talented players that could make the difference in the long run.

“I’m ready to give my best for Roma again. I want to do the best things for my career improving step by step,” said Under. “I just got back from injury, I hurt myself before I could perform well. Now I want to do my best.”

He made only 5 appearances since the beginning of the current campaign. Cengiz Under scored only 1 goal in 205 minutes. But everyone knows his immense talent and Paulo Fonseca is waiting for him.

The Portuguese coach often played him on the right offensive flank. On that side of the pitch, Roma have a pair of young talents worth a fortune. Nicolò Zaniolo has been doing great things there, but the Italy international may shift behind the striker to give Under the possibility to play wide.

Cengiz Under is finally fit and eager to bring Roma back to the Champions League.
