The Englishman is focused on the club’s goals and hopes Roma can have a successful season under Fonseca’s leadership.
Former Manchester United defender Chris Smalling is really enjoying his new professional adventure in the eternal city. The fans of the glorious team of the Italian capital welcomed him warmly. He is one of Roma’s key players since the beginning of the season.
TalkSPORT exclusively interviewed the centre-back of the Lupi to know something more about his adventure close to the Colosseum.
“I’m enjoying my new chapter…Hopefully we can have a successful season,” said Smalling to the British outlet.
Although he misses Manchester United, the Englishman is totally focused on this experience and happy to be in Italy with his family.
Roma‘s coach Paulo Fonseca knows what he wants from his group. Chris Smalling confirmed that the Portuguese coach is a very ambitious man: “The coach doesn’t only want to get back to the Champions League. He wants to win something.”
