Roma still chasing Napoli’s Mertens to help Dzeko

The Giallorossi are reportedly screening the mark for available strikers to relieve Dzeko. Petrachi is chasing Mertens.

Roma are reportedly already monitoring the market to find another striker. With Kalinic still out, Edin Dzeko needs help up front.

The Bosnian star has been playing all the matches since the beginning of the current campaign but it is not possible to think that he can go ahead until the end of the season.

According to the Italian outlet Il Mattino, Roma’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi is already establishing contacts with the Dries Mertens‘ agents.

The Belgian star seems to be on his way out of Napoli. His contract is set to expire in June 2020. Inter, Juventus, Tottenham, and Arsenal are reportedly chasing Mertens as well.
