Points per Game (last 8): Roma match Parma and Fiorentina

The efficiency of the Giallorossi dropped in the last 8 matches. Roma collected fewer points than their city rivals and temporarily lost a UCL spot.

Although Roma played good football in extremely difficult conditions, their efficiency has fallen in the last period. The team has been repeatedly hit by many serious injuries and Paulo Fonseca was forced to play always the same players.

In the last 8 Serie A matches, Roma collected an average of 1.75 points per game. Parma and Fiorentina achieved the same result as the Lupi. But those teams that are currently ahead of Roma in the Serie A standings did much better.

  1. Juventus: 2.75 PPG
  2. Inter: 2.38
  3. Cagliari: 2.25
  4. Lazio: 2.13
  5. Atalanta: 1.88

The club of Trigoria has now recovered a few key players and Paulo Fonseca hopes Roma will be able to change gear from now on. The Portuguese coach collected only 3 wins in the last 6 Serie A games. Juventus (5), Inter (4), Lazio (4), and Cagliari (4) did better. Atalanta have only won 2 games in the period under consideration.
