Florenzi works hard for his beloved Roma

The captain of the Giallorossi is passing through a tough period but as confirmed by Pellegrini, Florenzi is not complaining but working hard.

When you really love your job and the team you’re working for, you don’t want to put yourself ahead of the club. Alessandro Florenzi has been relegated to a secondary role for a few weeks but he is silently working hard to convince his coach.

“Ale [Florenzi] lives this moment as a champion. He never complained and always put the team first. He is working to convince the coach, but he deserves applause. He is teaching us so many things,” Lorenzo Pellegrini said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Alessandro Florenzi’s interview during the international break was simply remarkable. He said the right words to explain his current moment. Although Paulo Fonseca made different choices lately, the captain of the Giallorossi knows that Roma are the most important thing.

“I didn’t play to make the coach change his mind but only for Alessandro [himself]. I just think about playing, I want to give my contribution to Roma,” Florenzi had said right after the match played with the Italian national team.

Leonardo Spinazzola is still out for the upcoming Serie A home game against Brescia and Fonseca may decide to play him on the right flank.

Alessandro Florenzi’s future is uncertain at this time but he will have the possibility to play an important role for the Giallorossi again.
