The Bosnian star scored a marvelous goal yesterday and told the press about Pellegrini’s special ability to make assists. Dzeko praised Fonseca as well.
Edin Dzeko is making the difference again after a period without scoring goals. He threw the ball into the back of the net two times in the last two games. The Bosnian is one of the most important players in Fonseca‘s roster.
“We were expecting even more problems in this match. But we did really well since the start. It was a dangerous match because we could go out with a defeat,” Dzeko said to SKY after yesterday’s match.
Lorenzo Pellegrini seems to be the perfect trequartista for Dzeko. The Bosnia international revealed a nice backstory: “I always tell him ‘give it to me, give it to me’. But I even told him he had to make more assists in Europe since in Serie A he was already at 5. Today he made two more.”
“But there are other players capable of playing vertically, like Pastore. We have a strong team and strong players. If one cannot play, there are others already ready.”
