Dzeko: Fonseca? Not Just a Good Coach but a Good Guy as Well

The Bosnian star spoke about his career with the official channels of the club. Dzeko appreciates Fonseca’s football and his way to be part of the group.

He has played for a long time in many different countries and collected experience all over the world. Edin Dzeko is a top-level striker capable of leading his teammates and making a difference. Paulo Fonseca has impressed everyone since he landed in Rome and the Bosnian striker confirms that the Portuguese is much more than a coach.

“He knows what he wants to do. It was clear since the beginning when he set up the training sessions. He is always open to discussions, conversations, and everything else. He is not just a coach but a good guy as well,” said Dzeko.

According to him, Roma‘s players are having fun training on a daily basis. This is a key factor to make something extraordinary happen. Edin Dzeko also confirmed that the total appreciation of everyone towards him was the reason that convinced him to stay in the capital.

“I would say it was a bit of everything…the club, the coach, the teammates…Of course, I was always happy here too and with my family being happy here and my kids having born here, I was happy to staying here too.”
