The Portuguese coach believes Lazio did well in pushing Roma back and leaving Dzeko isolated. Fonseca was very excited to live his first derby in Rome.
Roma’s coach Paulo Fonseca analyzed his first Derby della Capitale and right at the end of the match he spoke with Sky Sport:
“Who loves football had fun. It is a privilege to have been part of it. Fans were delighted with this show. These two teams respected each other and created many scoring opportunities.”
DERBY? “It was very exciting, a beautiful and fabulous environment. For us coaches, it is difficult to manage certain emotions and we also leave a few years of life on the pitch. A well-played game, a show. It was a hymn to football.”
DZEKO ISOLATED? “Lazio forced us to drop down and Dzeko was closed. They created problems for us on the left side.”
