Dzeko Happy: But We Should Have Done Better

The Bosnian double the lead today against Sassuolo and albeit he is happy with the win, Roma should have played better in the second half.

Roma-Sassuolo ended 4-2 at the Stadio Olimpico. The Giallorossi secured an important win in front of their fans, reduced the gap with Juventus, and jumped ahead of their city rivals Lazio.

Edin Dzeko played another marvelous match today. The Bosnia international is not only a striker capable of scoring goals but a multitasking player who participates to the construction and development of the offensive plays.

“I’m happy with the win but we should have done better during the second half,” said Dzeko after Roma-Sassuolo. “We have to make sure to keep improving.”

He is also happy with the quality of Fonseca‘s roster. The arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan brought technique and experience in the team, a group with one main goal…the qualification for the Champions League.

“Mkhitaryan is a great player who has played for many great sides.”

Last week, they met each other with their national team. Dzeko unveils what he said to the Armenian star before today’s Serie A match: “I told him…you scored twice against Bosnia and now you have to score for Roma as well.”
