Roma May be Front Runner For Icardi as Napoli Targets Lozano

Three clubs are chasing the Argentine striker but Roma could be the favorite right now. Icardi opens to the Lupi as Napoli gets closer to Lozano.

Mauro Icardi could even wear the Roma jersey next campaign. Although the Giallorossi are not participating in the Champions League, the Argentine striker could decide to join the club of Trigoria anyway. According to the Italian transfer market expert Di Marzio, Roma has intensified contacts for the strong striker.

Although Mauro Icardi has not decided his future yet, Gianluca Petrachi could be working to give this marvelous present to Paulo Fonseca and the Roma fans.

Other clubs are chasing the player as well. Napoli and Juventus have been monitoring the situation but the Giallorossi could be the front runner at this time. As reported on the Italian portal Gianlucadimarzio.com, the Partenopei are close to finalizing a deal for Hirving Lozano. The Mexican talent, who is currently playing at PSV, could join Ancelotti‘s side in the next few days.

If Napoli will sign the 24-year-old from Mexico City, De Laurentiis would have enough offensive players in the roster and he may decide to give up on Icardi.

Juventus could still be interested in the Inter man but the offensive block of the Bianconeri is overcrowded at this time.

Roma and Inter could be working on a Dzeko-Icardi deal with the Giallorossi that would be ready to let their Bosnian star join the Nerazzurri paying a consistent fee.
