Roma Chases Atletico Madrid’s Kalinic with Fonseca’s Approval

If the Giallorossi will trade Schick out this summer, the Croatian striker may join the club of Trigoria. Negotiations may develop soon.

There’s no doubt that Edin Dzeko will lead the offensive operations of the Lupi this campaign as well. But the Bosnian star may have another striker close to him.

Reportedly, Patrik Schick may leave the eternal city soon. A few German sides are interested in him and Petrachi could be willing to let him go this summer. The sporting director of the Giallorossi needs to replace the Czech player if he decides to accept a new professional experience abroad.

According to the Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, Roma and Kalinic have been in contact yesterday as well. The Lupi could get the player on loan with a right-to-buy option. Nikola Kalinic’s price-tag could be about €7 million.

Reportedly, Paulo Fonseca approves Kalinic’s acquisition due to his ability to play as a striker or right behind Dzeko.
