Mancini Is Still a Top Priority for Roma

Although Roma is focusing on finding a possible agreement with Alderweireld, the club could sign its second defender of this transfer window in the next 48 hours, Gianluca Mancini.

Negotiations are going ahead on multiple tables. Gianluca Petrachi and his collaborators know that Roma must be totally reshaped and to do so they are working on different profiles at the same time.

Yesterday, we heard many opinions about Tottenham‘s defender Toby Alderweireld, but as AS Roma 360 reported, this is a very tough negotiation. The contract of the Belgian star is almost over (2020) and he may be interested in joining the club of the Italian capital albeit his salary could be an issue for the Lupi.

Likely, several clubs are working in the background to find an agreement with the experienced and skilled defender of Tottenham, a player who participated in the final match of the Champions League just a few months ago.

Roma is also working on another deal. Gianluca Mancini should be the second defender who joins the Giallorossi this summer (Spinazzola is the first). The Italy international is a good player and potentially a top star. He did great things at Atalanta during the past campaign giving his contribution to their qualification for the next edition of the Champions League.

Gianluca Mancini could be moving close to the Colosseum soon. According to Sky Sport, the defender will be paid about €20 million plus bonus. But the player should move to Roma on loan with an obligation to buy. The parties seem to be really close to finalizing this deal.
