Roma: Manolas All Set For Napoli

Roma defender Manolas will complete his transfer to Napoli today. The agent of the Greek player is arranging the final details of the contract.

In the long meeting that took place in Montecarlo, Napoli sporting director Giuntoli and Mino Raiola, the agent of the defender, are reportedly almost in agreement with everything. Shortly, Manolas will be a player of Napoli. As reported by Sky Sport, this deal should be made official by the end of the day.

Roma, instead, is waiting for this final agreement in order to cope with the financial fair play regulation enforced by UEFA. The fans of the Giallorossi will, therefore, lose another top player. It will not be easy to replace the Greek defender but the club of Trigoria could complete a double deal bringing Bartra and Mancini to the eternal city.

Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi will finalize the acquisition of Amadou Diawara right after Manolas’ move to Napoli. The player is currently participating in the African Cup with his national team. Diawara should get about €2.2 million per season from the club of the Italian capital. Reportedly, the Lupi will pay €18m + €2 bonus to Napoli for the talented Guinean midfielder.
