Napoli wants the Greek defender as confirmed by the president of the Partenopei. Manolas could leave Roma this summer.
Napoli seems to be ready to do great moves on the transfer market. The Partenopei want to give Ancelotti a great roster to compete with Juventus and Inter for the Italian title.
As Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis said to the Italian outlet Corriere della Sera, Manolas is a real target of his club. When asked if there is a real negotiation for the Greek defender he stated: “Yes, but we are chasing other players as well. Let us work, we start from a good foundation.”
Roma, instead, knows that Kostas Manolas could be leaving soon but only if Napoli will be willing to pay his release clause, €36 million. Reportedly, the Giallorossi are interested in the former Barcelona man, Bartra. But Gianluca Mancini could be purchased in July as well.
