Is Roma Planning Memorable Transfer Swaps?

The transfer market period is ready to begin. Roma is reportedly planning several moves to reshape its roster.

Clubs start planning their moves. The Giallorossi could be very active during the summer.

According to several Italian outlets, Roma could be involved in unexpected swap deals with Juventus and Inter.

Last season disappointed all those close to the Roma world and a total reconstruction plan could start soon. Jim Pallotta wants first-class professionals in his club and he seems to be ready to change a lot this summer.

According to the Italian La Stampa, Juventus would be ready to bid for Nicolò Zaniolo. The Italian midfielder still has a long contract with Roma but in front of a great offer, the Giallorossi could even decide to monetize.

Reportedly, the sporting director of the Bianconeri Paratici has spoken to the agent of the player.

An interesting transfer swap could be on their agenda. Reportedly, Juventus could include Perin and Cuadrado in a negotiation that would also bring cash to the Lupi. Due to the possible departure of Edin Dzeko, Gonzalo Higuain could be linked to Roma as well.

But in the past few days, much has been said about a possible swap deal between Roma and Inter as well. The Nerazzurri are reportedly seriously interested in signing Edin Dzeko albeit Roma is not ready to sell him at a discount.

In Italy there’s talk of a resounding negotiation that could involve Dzeko, Kolarov, El Shaarawy, and Icardi. Reportedly, Fienga and Ausilio are working tirelessly on this unexpected but possible (!?) deal.

Are these memorable transfer swaps real? Will Roma be able to lower its operating costs without losing competitiveness? We will know much more in the coming weeks.
