The Costa Rican is ready to leave the Blancos. Navas wants a new professional adventure. He could be the perfect deal for Roma.
Although Zinédine Zidane is back on the bench, reportedly, Real Madrid has closed the doors to Keylor Navas. The Costa Rican goalkeeper is, therefore ready to leave but only if the Blancos will be willing to pay him for the remaining two years outstanding on his current deal.
According to the Spanish outlet AS, PSG is interested in giving him the leading role after Buffon‘s departure but Real Madrid is not willing to let him go on a free transfer.
Roma could take advantage of this situation and enter the race for the three-time Champions League winner. The Giallorossi really need an experienced player in that critical position. Olsen should be traded out and Mirante is a great backup.
Although Navas’ reported salary expectations are high (€7 million per season) the Lupi could give him a three/four-year contract and an undisputed leading role in the eternal city.
Reportedly, Real Madrid asks for about €20 million to let him go. The 32-year-old keeper, though, could be traded out for much less due to his imminent contract expiration (2020).
Roma should definitely think about signing a player who made 162 caps with the most successful football club in the world also because there seems to be a possibility for negotiation.
