Chelsea assistant manager and former Italian football star Zola spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about a couple of Roma targets and the quality of Antonio Conte.
He has stunned audiences all over the world with his crystalline class. Nowadays, he works for one of the top British clubs, Chelsea. Gianfranco Zola knows football and how difficult it is to achieve professional success. In a recent interview with the Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Italy international also spoke about a couple of great talents.
“Cragno? I had him at Cagliari. He is very reactive and almost unbeatable. He is a solar guy with inner strength similar to Gigi Buffon, and he does everything with great enthusiasm,” said Zola.
“Barella? I let him debut in Parma in Coppa Italia. When he was 17, he had the skills and the personality of great football players. But to play in a big team, he must grow albeit he does not lack predisposition.”
Roma are chasing Antonio Conte and Zola firmly believes he is a top coach. “He is the ideal coach for everyone. The results say it.”
