Roma’s Future Must Wait Another 90 Minutes

The club is moving to shape the roster for next campaign but Ranieri and his players have a tough obstacle ahead of them. Roma’s future is on Sunday when the Lupi will face Genoa at stadio Marassi.

We have talked a lot about executives who can possibly join the giallorossi next season. We reported on rumors and dreams about Antonio Conte. But the real truth is that Roma desperately need to overcome another obstacle to possibly chase the qualification for the next edition of the Champions League.

Claudio Ranieri is doing his best for his beloved team and the players are positively reacting to his inputs. The upcoming Serie A clash on Sunday could be decisive for the future of the club. If the Lupi will be able to collect three points against Prandelli‘s side, the could catch the fourth position for the first time this season.

Atalanta will be traveling to the Italian capital to face Lazio at stadio Olimpico and they could leave important points there. Gasperini‘s men will play at 9:00 AM while Genoa-Roma will begin at 12:00 PM. Just a few hours of difference that could turn the situation upside down.

If the giallorossi are able to put their nose ahead of Atalanta this week, their fate will no longer depend on the results of others. Claudio Ranieri and his group are well aware of the importance of this match. They play to change the future although the present is what counts.
