The Italian coach spoke to the press ahead of Roma-Juventus and pointed out the importance of a new facility.

Roma host Juventus at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday and albeit the chances to qualify for the next edition of the Champions League are minimal, the giallorossi need three points and hope for a miracle.

Claudio Ranieri is well aware the late goal suffered against Genoa has permanently marked the season of the Lupi but he won’t give up!

In today’s press conference, the Italian coach also spoke about Stadio della Roma and its importance for the future of the club.

A stadium is vital for Roma. Juventus are a point of reference for top teams but without a new stadium Roma will have great difficulty,” said Ranieri to the press.

Roma can hope to catch Juventus if a new facility will be built in the Italian capital. This is a crucial moment for the project thought by the American investor. But Roma are much more than that for Claudio Ranieri who also stated that his commitment to the Lupi will be over at the end of the season.

Roma are an invaluable asset. Obviously I would be willing to promote my beloved team,” said Ranieri.
