Roma Bank €70m From the 2018-19 Champions League

Now that Juventus are out of the competition revenues from the Champions League can be unveiled. Roma bank another treasure.

This competition provides high returns for those clubs that have the pleasure and merit of participating in it. The Champions League is simply the best competition in today’s football.

Although Roma are still desperately fighting for a European spot for next season, the club of Trigoria can celebrate significant revenues due to the participation in this prestigious league.

As reported by the Italian outlet Il Tempo, Roma bank €70 million from the 2018-19 Champions League, approximately €30m less than the previous year when Di Francesco‘s men had reached the semifinals against Liverpool.

The 2018-19 Champions League prize money is higher than ever (€1.95 billion). UEFA has established higher performance bonuses in order to make this competition even more fascinating and exciting.
