Ranieri: We Must be Stronger Than What is Happening to Us

The Italian coach spoke to the press right after Roma-Fiorentina. A couple of other injuries will not facilitate his task of bringing the team to Europe.

Another home match without the three points…but this is the current status of the giallorossi, a team with many tactical and physical problems. Roma have suffered other two goals and two players have reported muscular issues.

“This is incredible!” said Claudio Ranieri to SKY Italia after the match. “I recover two [players] and I lose other two. But we must not give up, we must be stronger than what is happening to us. Only then will we be satisfied.”

Schick and Pastore have been left out again. Ranieri clearly explained his point of view on these two players.

“In my opinion, he is a great player [Schick] but he must win either his shyness or something. He can make great plays, but you have to prove it on the pitch. I believe in him a lot and I expect a lot from him.”

“Pastore? He is recovering from an injury and he is still not ready. He can help us only if he enters the field with the same determination shown by his teammates today.”
