Roma’s Zaniolo 11th Most Valuable U-20 Player in the World

The Italian midfielder has improved since his arrival to Roma and his future seems to be brighter than ever. Zaniolo is one of the best U-20 in the world.




The world is packed of football stars and players that will become idols of the fans in the near future. Whenever we think about young talents, the first name that comes to mind is certainly that of Kylian Mbappè. The 20-year-old striker is a force of nature. His ability to score goals and his rapidity are special. The Frenchman has already lifted a World Cup with his national team and he will be celebrating the victory of the Ligue 1 shortly.

Mbappè is the best U-20 player in the world. No doubts about that! But let’s see who is chasing him…

Borussia Dortmund‘s Jadon Sancho is in the second position of this ranking. The German side had purchased him from Manchester City U-18 paying a €7.8m fee. What a great deal if we think that nowadays his market value is up to €80 million.

Roma can proudly say that their summer deal Nicolò Zaniolo was one of the best purchases ever made for a youngster. The giallorossi paid €4.5m to Inter on July 1, 2018, and nowadays the Italian midfielder is not only a prospect anymore but a solid reality. Zaniolo made 28 caps this campaign and scored 5 goals. His current price-tag is about €40 million.
