Claudio Ranieri is an experienced manager who will be praised forever after having triumphed in the Premier League with Leicester City. The Roma fans can stay calm, the new leader of the Lupi knows what to do in a time of distress.

In today’s press conference ahead of the Serie A away match Spal-Roma, the Italian coach was asked about Fazio and he firmly replied…

“He is a top player for me. Players are not machines but they can experience negative moments. He is very important to me. He is smart and able to read the action properly,” said Ranieri to the press. “I’m firmly convinced he can do well with me. He trained yesterday and is training again today. He should be ok.”

Federico Fazio made 124 caps with Roma. The defender also scored 10 goals and 3 assists. The former Roma director of football Walter Sabatini had purchased him from Tottenham on July 1, 2017, paying a 3.2 million fee.
