The Belgian star spoke about his departure from Rome once more. Nainggolan’s relationship with Monchi was corroded and he decided to move towards Milan.
Radja Nainggolan will always be positively remembered by the Roma fans. The midfielder was a hero in the Italian capital, a player able to warm the fearless hearts of Roman citizens.
He is currently experiencing a tough period at Inter but his thoughts are always for Roma and his beloved city. In a recent interview with the Belgian portal hln.be, the former Roma men spoke about his departure from the eternal city.

“A world war could have been triggered if I stayed at Roma,” said Nainggolan. “I had a discussion with the director of football Monchi because he did not behave professionally with me. If in the summer he had told me ‘we want to trade you out’, I would have accepted it. Instead, he did not do so, and in the meantime, he sent some intermediaries to Turkey to trade me out.”
“At that moment, I realized that my time in Rome was over. I am a sincere guy and if I stayed in Rome after what he did to me I could have unleashed a world war every day,” concluded the Belgian star Radja Nainggolan.
