De Maggio Bets on Sarri to Roma: He Will be Their next Coach

Several football pundits believe the current Chelsea coach will be moving to the Italian capital right at the end of the season. Sarri could be leading Roma soon.




Rumors from around the world are converging on a possible imminent scenario. Maurizio Sarri could be the next Roma coach. Italian sources are reporting on a possible agreement between the Italian coach and the football powerhouse of the eternal city.

According to the director of the Italian radio Radio Kiss Kiss, the former Napoli and current Chelsea coach could be change gear at the end of the season. “Maurizio Sarri will be the next Roma coach despite their qualification for the Champions League,” said Valter De Maggio to Rete Sport.

The tight bond between Sarri and Baldini, an external consultant of president Pallotta, could make this deal official.

“Even under Di Francesco‘s management, many rumors reported on the arrival of the Tuscan coach to the capital. Baldini firmly believes in him,” continued De Maggio. “In the environment of the Blues [Chelsea], there is talk of his sacking within the next two weeks, but even if this were not the case, the future is quite clear.”
