Roma Scoring Frequency: Kolarov Better than Dzeko

The Serbian defender is outperforming his teammate. Kolarov is more efficient than Dzeko this season.

No one could have imagined that by the end of February, a defender could have done offensively better than a top striker. But this is the reality in the Italian capital.

Although he is fiercely criticized by the Roma fans, Aleksandar Kolarov is outperforming Edin Dzeko for scoring frequency. The Serbian scores a goal every 274 minutes while the Bosnia international every 300′. Both of them are behind Stephan El Shaarawy (148′).

Roma are facing defensive issues this season but a defender is one of the best performers for the Lupi. Kolarov’s performance is also remarkable for goals scored 7 (Dzeko 5), and penalty thrown into the back of the net, 3 out 3.

If we think about his purchase value from Manchester City (€5m), we can definitely say that Kolarov has been one of the best acquisitions Roma have ever made.
