Gattuso: De Rossi is Precious, Zaniolo Reminds Me of Totti

Milan coach Gattuso firmly believes his team played a good match against a talented Roma. He praised Zaniolo and De Rossi for their quality.

Roma and Milan are still chasing a Champions League spot, two teams with good talents and a great future. Inter‘s home defeat against Bologna keeps both sides in the race for the third position as well. Lazio, Atalanta, and Sampdoria are dreaming too.

Right after yesterday’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico, Gennaro Gattuso spoke to the press also about his dear friend De Rossi and the Roma jewel Zaniolo.

He played in his role and he is always able to put you in trouble by putting the ball vertically. He is always an important player,” said Milan‘s coach about De Rossi. “He played a great match all over the field. He has great personality. He can still do a lot in football because he combines quantity to quality.

Gattuso also praised Nicolò Zaniolo. “When he touches the ball, he reminds me of the first Totti. He has great strength in his legs and great quality as well. He runs a lot. He is a very interesting player.

He looks older than what he really is. He must keep working hard keeping a good form too. He played with great tactical intelligence. He is a a good addition for Italian football,” concluded Gennaro Gattuso.
