The captain of the giallorossi spoke about Roma-Porto mentioning that the return match is going to be tough but the Lupi can do well in the 2nd-leg.
The sad face of the Roma players right at the end of yesterday’s UCL clash against Porto were the awareness of having suffered a very unlucky goal when the match was almost over.
Conceicao‘s side had played with personality at the Stadio Olimpico albeit Zaniolo had punished them with his extreme desire for success that will let him become a football superstar.
Daniele De Rossi knows these matches are insidious but he is also confident that Roma can do well at the Estadio do Dragao.
“We have a small advantage. Their goal hurt us, though. We know that the qualification is not guaranteed but this is a good result anyway,” said Daniele De Rossi.
“I would have been happy if they told me we were going to win 2-1. Bit we shouldn’t have suffered that goal. Now we have a 51% possibility to go ahead.”
The Roma captain also praised Zaniolo for his dedication and quality. “He has both physical and technical arrogance. He will be a great player. He’ll become a champion,” concluded De Rossi.
