Chievo Against the Odds to Surprise Roma

The coach of the clivensi is ready to compete to avoid a tough relegation. Roma will face a team eager to fight to the end of the season.

Although the situation of Di Carlo’s side doesn’t look great at this time, the Italian coach is still positive about the future. He wants to impress everyone by defeating Roma collecting three vital points to avoid possible relegation.

The giallorossi, instead, need to do much more to qualify to the next edition of the Champions League. Di Francesco believes his group had a good reaction against Milan at the stadio Olimpico last Sunday but the three points are the only thing that really matters from now on.

We need to improve to face Roma. We lose concentration sometimes,” said Chievo Verona’s coach Domenico Di Carlo. “Although Pellissier is not available, we have other players that will do well.

Roma are a better side in terms of quality but we have to be better than them as a team. I’m confident, we will perform extraordinarily well to defeat Roma. We have to keep dreaming [about remaining in Serie A].

If they will play at a high pace for 90 minutes, it will be difficult for us. We should not let them think. We have to hit them whenever possible,” continued Di Carlo in the press conference ahead of Chievo Verona-Roma.
