Everybody was expecting Roma’s defeat against Juventus but the sad sight seen in Turin leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of the fans.
Robin Olsen saved his teammates from another hard to digest defeat at the Allianz stadium yesterday. Although the giallorossi lost their match anyway, the Swedish goalkeeper kept his team at a limitate distance for the whole game.
But Roma cannot be satisfied with making extras, they must work to become protagonists. Di Francesco’s side stats against Juventus are merciless. Their offensive inefficiency is clear and disturbing.
Patrick Schick‘s performance was once again extremely poor and the Italian coach did not disguised his disappointment. “We can not just focus on Schick, we expected a few more goals but from my point of view he has some important qualities. What interests me is getting to the 29th of December with as many points as possible, then we will make our evaluations,” said Di Francesco at the end of the match.
The future of the Czech striker seems to be marked definitively. Reportedly, Sampdoria are waiting for him and the player would be happy to join his former club again.
“The team lived the fears of the previous matches and the few certainties. In the second half, instead, we have won more duels,” stated the Roma coach after the match against Juventus.
This is a group prisoner of their fears.
