Roma Match Celtic in a Negative Champions League Record

The giallorossi cannot be happy with how the current season is developing. Yesterday’s Champions League defeat represents a record for Roma.

Negative results bring negative feelings in the Roma world. Nobody knows the real reasons behind Roma’s disappointing performance in the 2018-19 campaign, but something must be done to walk back on the right path.

Although Pallotta could decide to push for a change, and in that case Di Francesco could be contractually terminated, the Roma executives are still waiting hoping for a jolt of pride of the coach and the players.

But Roma’s defeat against Viktoria Plzen represents another negative record for the team of the Italian capital.

Roma have conceded at least one goal in the last 30 Champions League away matches. A questionable defensive performance to say the least. This is the longest negative strip of the competition.
